Metrazol Suspension, 30ml - Kiron

FORMULA: Each Ml contains:
Metronidazole ...... 25 mg
Vehicle c.b.p. ......................................1.0 ml

Antimicrobial and immunomodulatory. The drug of choice against Giardia spp. infections in puppies. Useful for diarrhea and flatulence caused by bacterial microorganisms sensitive to the formula. It is also recommended for short bowel syndrome, anaerobic oral cavity infections, hepatic encephalopathy, cholangitis, and inflammatory bowel disease.

DOSE:

Canines and Felines:
For Giardia spp: 25 mg/kg of body weight every 12 hours for 5-7 days (1 ml per kg of body weight) or 50 mg/kg of body weight every 24 hours for 5 days (2 ml per kg).
Canines:
For inflammatory bowel disease: 10-15 mg/kg of body weight every 12 hours for 5-7 days (1 ml per 1.6-2.5 kg of body weight).
For suppurative cholangitis: 25-30 mg/kg every 12 hours for 4-6 weeks (1 ml per 0.8-1 kg of body weight).
For hepatic encephalopathy: 20 mg/kg every 8 hours for 4-6 weeks (1 ml per 1.25 kg of body weight).

شراب ميترونيدازول لعلاج الإسهال والغازات ومضاد للميكروبات والطفيليات. الدواء الأمثل لعلاج الجيارديا وعلاج العدوى البكتيرية بالفم.

لعدوى الجيارديا: 25 ملجم/كجم من الوزن كل 12 ساعة لمدة 5-7 أيام (1 مل لكل كجم من الوزن) أو 50 ملجم/كجم من الوزن كل 24 ساعة لمدة 5 أيام (2 مل لكل كجم).

الكلاب:

لالتهاب الأمعاء: 10-15 ملجم/كجم من الوزن كل 12 ساعة لمدة 5-7 أيام (1 مل لكل 1.6-2.5 كجم من الوزن).
لالتهاب الأقنية الصفراوية القيحي: 25-30 ملجم/كجم كل 12 ساعة لمدة 4-6 أسابيع (1 مل لكل 0.8-1 كجم من الوزن).
للاعتلال الدماغي الكبدي: 20 ملجم/كجم كل 8 ساعات لمدة 4-6 أسابيع (1 مل لكل 1.25 كجم من الوزن).
