Back Protector (Black/Size XXS), 196200-0002 - HORKA

The HORKA back protector offers protection on the back and front, just like a regular body protector. Back protectors are subject to the EN 1621-2, level 2 standard. This protector and standard were adopted from motorsports because equestrian sports do not yet have their own European certification for this type of protector. Similar impact levels occur in motorsports during a fall, which is why this type is permitted in equestrian sports. Several parties aim to use a single certification for this within a few years to provide clarity in the market. Back protectors are increasingly used in equestrian sports because they offer even more flexibility and comfort than body protectors. The EVA foam parts are also perforated, providing improved ventilation compared to protectors with solid foam blocks.

Product specifications:
- Washing instructions: Machine wash at 30 degrees Celsius.*

Material: outer: 90% nylon, 10% polyester / lining: EVA memory foam

*Most foam parts are removable, making the back protector machine-washable.
