CEPHAPET 600, 60ml

FORMULA
Once the mixure is done, every 60ml caontains:
Cephalexin (monohydrate)... 7.2gr.
Excipient c.b.p ...................... 60ml

It is a first-generation, broad-spectrum bacterial antibiotic indicated for infections caused by Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Cephalexin is one of the most commonly used antibiotics in dogs and cats. It is used for infections caused by streptococci and staphylococci, and less frequently for infections caused by anaerobic germs. Cephalexin is the first-choice antibiotic for superficial and deep canine pyodermas, especially the latter, as it works best. It is used for furunculosis, abscesses, and infected wounds. It is very effective in infections of the upper respiratory tract, as well as the bronchi and lungs. Long-term use in the treatment of canine pyoderma, from 30 days for superficial pyodermas to 60 to 90 days (up to 6 months) for deep pyodermas, yields very good therapeutic results. Despite this, antibacterial rotation is recommended for recurrent cases of this disease to avoid resistance and preserve this antibiotic as a fundamental tool for daily clinical practice.

DOSE:

CEPHAPET 600 Canines and Felines: 0.2ml/kg of body weight (25mg/kg of weight) or 5ml for every 25 kg of weight.

دواعي الاستعمال:
سيفالكسين هو مضاد حيوي من الجيل الأول واسع الطيف، يستخدم لعلاج الالتهابات الناتجة عن البكتيريا موجبة وسالبة الجرام. يُعدّ من أكثر المضادات الحيوية شيوعاً في الكلاب والقطط. يُستخدم لعلاج الالتهابات التنفسية والمعوية في القطط والكلاب.

الجرعـة:
الكلاب والقطط: 0.2 مل/كجم من وزن الجسم (ما يعادل 25 ملغ/كجم) أو 5 مل لكل 25 كجم من وزن الجسم.
