DOXIPET 100mg - (1 STREP )

FORMULA:
Each tablet contains:
Doxycycline hyclate....... 120mg
Excipient c.b.p.......... 1 tablet

DOXIPETS® is indicated for the treatment of respiratory tract, urogenital, and skin infections in dogs and cats. It is used in the treatment of diseases related to rickettsiae (Erhlichia canis, Erhlichia spp.), amoebas, mycoplasmas, chlamydia (psittacosis), and leptospira (Leptospira sp.), and is the treatment of choice in cases of ehrlichiosis.

DOSE:
DOXIPETS 100 One tablet per 12 kg of body weight (10 mg/kg of body weight) every 24 hours for 3-5 days in acute cases and up to 10 days in chronic cases.
Administer with food. For the treatment and control of canine ehrlichiosis (10 mg/kg once daily for 10–14 days, or at the discretion of the veterinarian).

دواعي الاستعمال: تُستخدم أقراص دوكسي لعلاج التهابات الجهاز التنفسي، والجهاز البولي التناسلي والتهابات الجلد لدى الكلاب والقطط. كما يُستعمل لعلاج الأمراض الناتجة عن الريكتسيا (مثل Ehrlichia canis و Ehrlichia spp.)، والأميبا، الميكوبلازما، الكلاميديا (مثل داء الببغاوات)، والليبتوسبيرا (Leptospira sp.). ويُعتبر العلاج المفضل في حالات الإريليشية.

الجرعة:
* للكلاب والقطط: **قرص واحد لكل 12 كجم من وزن الجسم (أي ما يعادل 10 ملغ/كجم) كل 24 ساعة، لمدة 3 – 5 أيام في الحالات الحادة، وحتى 10 أيام في الحالات المزمنة.
* يُعطى مع الطعام.
* لعلاج ومكافحة الإريليشية عند الكلاب: 10 ملغ/كجم مرة يومياً لمدة 10–14 يومًا، أو حسب توجيه الطبيب البيطري.
