Formula:
Ascorbic acid 12.5 g; Excip csp 100 ml.

Indications:
Anti-infective vitamin to boost immune defenses. Improve healing. Anemic conditions. Overwork and exhaustion due to overwork and training to improve capillary fragility. Various hemorrhages. Reproductive and spermatogenesis deficiencies. Also indicated to acidify urine in poisoned animals, as acidifying urine promotes its excretion.

Dosage and routes of administration:
Curative: Adult animals: 20 ml daily; Foals: 10 ml daily.
Preventive: Adult animals: 20 ml every other day; Foals: 10 ml every other day.
Administer intravenously at a daily or every other day dose, depending on whether the treatment is curative or preventative.

Side effects: Large doses can oxidize the urine and may increase the excretion of certain drugs, thereby reducing their effectiveness. This would be the case with some antimicrobials such as aminoglycosides and erythromycin.

الجرعة وطريقة الإعطاء:

في الحالات الوقائية :
الخيول البالغة: 20 مل كل يومين
المهور: 10 مل كل يومين

طريقة الإعطاء: حقن وريدي، بجرعة يومية أو كل يومين حسب نوع العلاج

الآثار الجانبية:
* الجرعات الكبيرة قد تؤدي إلى تأكسد البول
* قد تزيد من طرح بعض الأدوية، مما يقلل من فعاليتها، مثل بعض المضادات الحيوية (الأمينوجليكوزيدات والإريثروميسين)
